Jimmy Eappen

Mr Jimmy Eappen is a passionate educator who started his teaching career in 1988. He has worked in many institutions across the country taking up different responsibilities such as warden, teacher and vice principal. In the year 2000 he decided to shift his focus from formal schools to Early Years.

He joined Julia Gabriel Centre of Singapore and completed his diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care along with a Teaching Certificate from Trinity College London in Speech and Drama.

After coming back to India, he pioneered the setting up process of the first Julia Gabriel Centre in New Delhi. Moving on from there in 2007, he started Intellitots Early Learning Centre in Gurgaon. He is well known in Gurgaon for the Mom and Me programs and the Speech and Drama programs. Parents and children admire him for his passion, patience, commitment to quality, dedication and love for children. He firmly believes that each child is unique and the role of a teacher is to enable each one to actualise his/her dream and potential.

Mr Jimmy holds a Masters degree in Arts from Madras University, Bachelors degree in Teaching from North Easter Hill University of Shillong, Diploma in Psychology and Counselling from Bangalore University, Diploma in Early Childhood care and Education from Julia Gabriel Institute Singapore and a teaching Certification in Speech Drama and Communications Art from Trinity College, London.


Jaya Modi

Ms. Jaya Modi is a passionate educator who believes that every child is unique and has a very different way of expressing oneself.

She is a specialist in 0 to 5 years age group with primary focus on play-based and open-ended learning, and firmly believes that early childhood education must focus on developing the skills required in every child to become a lifelong learner.

She has over 16 years of rich experience in Early Years Education. She was the director and franchisee owner of the Gymboree Play and Music Centre in GK 2 from June 2011 - May 2018. Earlier to this assignment she was an entrepreneur director at Abacus- a Playschool in South City 1, Gurgaon.

Ms. Jaya is an alumnus of Welham Girls school, Dehradun. She holds her BCom degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai and MBA from International Management Institute in Delhi.

In pursuit of her passion and career in the field of education she has qualified herself with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from Amity University, a specialized Diploma in in Early Childcare & Education from New York University-US, and another niche diploma from SNDT Delhi, for teaching young children with learning challenges.

Ms. Jaya is a mother of twin children who too are in early years themselves making her life handful with children both at School and home.


Noni Vyas

Ms. Noni Vyas comes with more than 20 years of experience in teaching learning environment particularly in Early childhood care and education. She has worked in many renowned educational institutions across India. Her diverse experience and training, allows her to tailor teaching programs, course curriculums and classroom pedagogical approaches to specific needs of the students and the schools.

She is an educator, researcher, advisor, and consultant engaging in professional growth leading to thoughtful judgments and decision making for all children’s and teachers’ learning. Her passion is in working with children, families, and teachers enabling them to create a program that focuses on early childhood education and development.

She has a specific interest in observation and documentation of young children’s learning, development and exploration of innovative pedagogical practices and programs, to engage and change the image of the child in early childhood setting in India.

She strongly believes that-

“teachers are learners too and we need to constantly seek to improve on our own practices and ways of thinking. Part of this process involves regular critical reflection. By working collaboratively we can expand our perspectives, gain insight into different ways of thinking and challenge our own beliefs and practices”.

Her last assignment was with Neev Schools, a renowned group of schools in Bangalore that follow the IB curriculum. She worked for 10 year with them as a Branch Head.

Shafaq Shafi Bhat

Ms.Shafaq Shafi Bhat a Bachelor in Education and Bachelor in Science is a passionate, highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator. She brings with her a rich experience of 16 years as an Early Years Childhood Educator in an American International school in Thailand culminating in her position as Head of the Early Childhood Center (ECC) for a period of 4years. Her leadership values correspond to her core teaching values of inclusion, openness, hands on approach,empathy,mutual support and continually striving to improve the pupils’ learning experience and placing emphasis on the latest educational developments. She has always sought to foster an open environment that embraced the rich breadth of her pupils’ backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities and identified with different cultures and nationalities, fair and equal with everyone.

As Head of ECC, she has been at the forefront of tracking initiatives that ensured the school responded to the challenges and maintained a positive dialogue with parents with the goal of ensuring that they understood the objectives of the school. She has acquired considerable experience in staff leadership, mentoring newly qualified teachers and student teachers, and in managing teams of staff. Her position as head of ECC offered her several opportunities to make use of her leadership skills for the betterment of the school. Amongst other initiatives, she led the Early Childhood Center first towards adopting the NAEYC curriculum (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and then towards the Common Core curriculum and creation of Standard Based report cards to align with the Elementary school curriculum in her previous school in Thailand.
